Larry received his Masters degree in Cybernetic Systems in 1990 and his Doctorate in Kinesiology, the scientific study of movement in 1995. He graduated from the Amherst Training in 1983, becoming an Assistant Trainer in 1988 and a Trainer in 1994. He conducts trainings throughout Europe , the USA and Australia .

Larry is devoted to broadening the application of the Method. He works with a wide range of people including bus drivers, bank tellers, grounds keepers, and stock clerks. Through his teaching and publications, Larry has become known for his ability to articulate "the method" in the Feldenkrais Method. He currently maintains a practice in Santa Cruz , California .
